A lone tree on a beautiful sunset night. means that even in darkness and solitarity lov or being together can be butifule and inspiring.

The tree is baren with no leaves and it must be Fall season.

The painting is very detailed around the tree and is leading me to believe that the island and tree are his main target of this painting.

Te setting darkens yet beutifies it with the sunset on the horizon leading to the dark but with a great day ahead for the trees (couple) tomarrow.
